Essentially You by Jon Renau is a mid-length, layered, and straight synthetic top piece. It can be worn at the hairline or slightly behind to integrate with your own hair. The density and layering adds body, length, and fullness to your fine or thinning hair. The hair is 6-8 inches in length and comes straight out of the box. It creates a classic and voluminous look in seconds.
The monofilament top provides multi-directional styling and looks like natural hair growth. Five pressure sensitive clips provide a secure and comfortable fit. This top piece is ideal for any woman wanting extra body and coverage.

This topper worked perfectly for my thin graying hair. I like that it has 5 clips but I am thinking about changing the front one to a comb instead. By the end of the day, the front clip pulls a bit on my hair. The topper is very shiny so I washed it and used dry shampoo. I am very happy with this item.

Wigs.com is very easy to work with, and my most recent order came very quickly.
I have women in the market ask me where I get my hair done, as they love the cut and color. My stylist just laughs. She helps me pick which topper I should have, shapes my hair to work well with the length and colors my natural hair when I need it. I just found out there's a color that's a bit lighter, but same rooted look, which I love. I think I'll try it for next summer.

I'm really loving this topper in 12FS8 shaded praline. When it arrived my first impression was that it was very shiny. I wasn't convinced that the color was right for me either because it's brighter and more golden than the shades I usually wear. But I decided to take the plunge, clip that tag and start working with it. I'm glad I did. I did carefully snip a bit of a long bang to blend in with my bio bangs. After washing and spraying with dry shampoo it was still a bit shinier than I like so tried the dryer sheet method (I saw in a wigs.com video) and that seems to have done the trick. A little root concealer in the same color as the rooting on this piece really helps to blend my bio hair in along my hairline. I love that this topper has a larger base. It's comfortable to wear all day. I'm very happy with this purchase and the service from Wigs.com. I've had to return two wigs recently and although I was nervous about the return process it was very easy.

One photo with and one without the topper. I brought it to my stylist and she trimmed it up and it blends well with my natural hair. I’m a nurse and so embarrassed to be losing my hair from Covid but today was the first day I wore my topper and received so many compliments. Sometimes it’s hard to be 63.
