Mariska Petite by Jon Renau is a short, layered, and voluminous synthetic lace front wig with rounded layers. The monofilament top is hand-tied and allows multi-directional parting while providing the appearance of natural growth. The graduated layers add movement and frame your face shape for the most flattering look. Also available in AVERAGE cap size.
The SmartLace™ Front mimics a natural hairline and each hair is hand tied one by one. The top is made with a sheer material to give a scalp look and create natural volume. The entire cap has is hand-tied for comfort, natural movement, and styling versatility. The synthetic hair is pre-styled with full layers and is ready-to-wear out of the box.

This is a very comfortable wig. Not so scratchy as my others. The fiber moves very naturally. I feel like the color I chose (moonlight) suits my skin tone. The only “con” I have is that it is very shiny. I know after a few more washes it should tone down some. I use dry shampoo in the meantime. It was wearable right out of the box, but I don’t like hair in my eyes so I did trim in some bangs.

This wig is beautiful and very comfortable. However, it was way too large for my tiny head. I was able to do some alterations to make her fit me better, so I think I will enjoy wearing her.

I ordered the Mariska Petite wig because I wanted a change in style. The color wasn't quite what I expected so I was going to exchange it for a slightly darker color. Then I noticed that the hairs at the back crown of the wig were already frizzy and bent. This is something I have seen on my wigs when they get quite old and used but have never seen on a new wig. So I returned it hoping that the new color would be great and the hair would look better on the crown. The new wig arrived and I loved the color and the hair on the crown. However, the hair on the back was not long and smooth as it had been on the first wig that arrived. Since this was one of the things that I liked most about the Mariska wig I was definitely disappointed. So I decided to return this second wig also. I may try a third time someday in the future but I am tired of returning wigs that don't quite live up to my expectations at this point in time.

This was my second Mariska purchase. I had hopes that the problems I had with my first Mariska were a fluke. I wore my wig only 5 times and noticed the extreme loss of hair in the back. I love the cut and shape of this wig, but can’t wear it anymore because of the noticeable lack of hair. I ordered a second wig, but returned it because it was already thin. Fool me once.....
