Washing
- Add 1 tablespoon of shampoo to cold water. Soak for 5 minutes
- Rinse thoroughly (incomplete rinsing dulls the fiber)
- Gently blot with a towel. Do not squeeze, twist, brush or comb while wet
- Hang to air dry or place on a folding wig stand (avoid drying on a Styrofoam head)
Styling
- Avoid using heat styling tools like a blow dryer, curling iron and flat iron.
- To smooth or re-curl, use a round metal brush and the HUW Hair Steamer.
- For excess shine, use dry shampoo to dull

I’m a newbie to wigs, and this is my first to buy on my own (not through a shop). I love the color (nutmeg) because it is pretty close to my natural color without all the grey. I’ve not had a lace front or monofilament top before and like those options also. Another reviewer said this wig has a bit of a cowlick, which is true, but I was able to get the crown to lay properly with a bit of hairspray. My first wig was a basic cap and stayed in place without a band underneath. This wig needs a band because the lace front slides up without one.

The Winner once again didn’t disappoint. This time I treated myself to the lace front version and it is all I hoped for in a wig. I have MANY of the Winner style-I started with the reds and then graduated to the silver. Love the Iced Granita. Easy to care for and beyond belief in rain and wind-looks great after being outside in all kinds of conditions. Treat yourself and choose a lovely color or two or three and enjoy having hair that doesn’t ever give you a “bad hair day”.
