The hair is made with Tru2Life heat friendly synthetic fiber for styling flexibility. The 100% hand tied cap has the brand’s trademark Sheer Indulgence Lace front for off-the-face styling and monofilament top for multi-directional parting.

Tru2Life® Synthetic Wigs from Raquel Welch
Washing
- Add 1 tablespoon of shampoo to cold water. Soak for 5 minutes
- Rinse thoroughly (incomplete rinsing dulls the fiber)
- Gently blot with a towel. Do not squeeze, twist, brush or comb while wet
- Hang to air dry or use a blow dryer on a low setting.
Styling
- Unlike your own hair, the fiber only sets after it cools. Pin or hold the hair in the curl shape until it's cool, then release!
- 240°F (116°C) is perfect. Do not go above 350°F/180°C
- Never heat style while wearing the piece
- To change again use heat

I needed to transition to gray hair and Raquel had RL511 which was exactly what I was looking for. The style was close to what I was wearing before, so that worked out perfectly. As usual, the order and delivery were quick and easy. The customer service is great too.

I sent this email to customer service on Jan 26th and never received a reply. I re-sent the email twice, no reply:
I purchased this wig for my mom in March 2025.

She alternates it with one other wig (different brand), so it's not her only wig, but it somehow has lots of damage after only 10 months. (I attached two photos.) Is this normal wear? She doesn't use heat tools on the wig and I think she's only washed it twice since she got it (**note: she actually only washed it once w/ shampoo for synthetic wigs**). She's on the older side and is pretty sedentary, and doesn't need to wash her wigs often. She doesn't sleep in the wig, either.
If this is normal wear after 10 months, is there any way to prevent it, to make the wig last longer in good condition?

The wig is LITE at best, certainly not Medium....the color is beautiful, etc.
Also, he wig is losing hair already and am afraid I'll need to order another much sooner than usual.
I buy , usually, from a cancer site...and the hair is much more dense. and thought the density would be the same no matter where I purchased....
Going forward, I want to speak with someone who to make sure the wig begins at a Medium
