With a lace front topper, I recommend placing it at the front hairline and securing the front side clips as tight as you can. Add tape or adhesive to the lace for a smooth and flat application.

Washing
- Add 1 tablespoon of shampoo to cold water. Soak for 5 minutes
- Rinse thoroughly (incomplete rinsing dulls the fiber)
- Gently blot with a towel. Do not squeeze, twist, brush or comb while wet
- Hang to air dry or use a blow dryer on a low setting.
Styling
- Unlike your own hair, the fiber only sets after it cools. Pin or hold the hair in the curl shape until it's cool, then release!
- 240°F (116°C) is perfect. Do not go above 350°F/180°C
- Never heat style while wearing the piece
- To change again use heat

This is a continuation of my last review now that I've lived with my topper for a few months. The hair is very silky and smooth just after brushing but gets very knotty and bunches up so i have to wear it in a ponytail. This leads me to believe that the person who made it didn't take care to make sure to sew the hair strands all in the same direction.
Also, because there's no strip across the front for a clip or tape, i have to put tape has to go directly on the mesh cape. This is causing the hair to stick to the tape and pulled through the back sode of the mesh and off the topper. 1\3 of the front section has been pulled off with the tape. Every other topper I've ever purchased has had a strip across the front for tape or clips and they were all less expensive and also didn't get dry and knotty for at least a year. This 1 did after 1 washing and I use all professional products recommended by my hairdresser that's been a hair loss expert for over 30yrs

Let me first say, it was difficult to choose a color from the small photo. The photo of the cap was insufficient as well. There's no strip on the front of the cap to either sew on a clip or place tape. There's also 2 areas, 1 on either side of the front, that itch my scalp.
