I have alopecia. I'm completely blad. Wigs, even with a stocking cap, itch. I saw this product and was very excited about it. Interestingly, I found it on Amazon for aboutc1/3 this price. I ordered it and I found it amazing. Itching is at a minimum, my wig stays on well, and I just love it. It's the best scalp protector I've ever had. Unfortunately, Amazon no longer carries it, and I'm sure it's because of the price difference. I really have a hard time justifying $39.95 plus shipping since the material this is made from is minimal and probably mass produced. I have no proof but I would guess it's made off shore. My question is, is it really necessary to sell this at such a high price? Folks like me have no choice but to wear a wig, so we have the expense of the wig, and if we want comfort we have to pay a lot of money for this scalp cushion. Is there anything that can be done to lower the cost?

It might help some people, but I have no hair and I got this to help with the itchiness of wigs. Honestly, I think it might have made it worse…

I had cancer and scalp was removed on top of my head and replaced with a skin graft. It is super sensitive. I rub some Aquaphor on top of my head and it keeps the scalp cushion in place. Life saver for me.

My client is going through chemo and her scalp is sensitive to her wig and even a silk scarf. she uses this to put a barrier between her and her scalp and is itch free and feels much relief from an irritated scalp. The last thing she needs is more physical discomfort, so I am so happy this worked for her!
