I bought this wig in champagne rooted. The color is fabulous. It’s perfect. It matches my hair exactly. And right around my face, You can’t even tell I’ve got a wig on at all. I wasn’t sure when I opened it but when I put it on it was great. I’m used to wearing bangs, so for me the hairline of this.one was a little strange. I put my headband on and it just made it perfect I’m 66 years old and I figure I could still wear my hair just as spunky as possible. I’ve always said love me, love my clothes and hair. Not the best picture, but I just don’t take good pictures anymore.

This is a miss for me. The curl pattern just looks incredibly stringy and wild. I think this is going to be a difficult style for many people to pull off sadly I think maybe in a different color this could work better but in this particular shade of gray it’s coming off very “Einstein”.

So, it's been a while since I bought my first Scala. I need the wavy, curly styles that frame my face to look my best. I really love it. I wish it had more layering in the front around my face (bangs and or layers), but if you fluff it up on the top it still looks good. This one is nicer than my first and is the same color but is a little lighter, which I like. I love it!

Scala is the wild version of EW's "Sound." If you like Scala's length, but it's too untamed for you (as it was for me), try Ellen Willie's "Sound". Instead of getting perm frizz, Sound has soft, rounded, grown-up curls that frame the face beautifully. I will try to heat-set Scala to give it a more finished look, but other reviewers aren't very encouraging about their experiences. The wig is well made; I just think it's a look meant for younger faces than mine.
