    Enjoying the layers and length

I am new to wearing wigs. I started wearing them because I gave up on my own hair, which is very fine and very thin. My first wig was the Raquel Welch Dare to Be. The main difference I noticed between she and Gabor’s Own the Room was the difference in density and overall construction. OTR’s fibers feel finer and less durable. And while the DTB was shaded at the roots, I’m afraid that the cap will show through at times for OTR. I chose the color Biscuit which is pretty light, so perhaps that’s why it feels so much more transparent. All that said, OTR’s cut is spectacular and it photographs beautifully. I’m not convinced OTR has a mono part. I have a really hard time changing the part without the cap showing through. I haven’t been working with wigs long but I’m having a very hard time getting the part to look like a part vs a zig zag. I am concerned that the manufacturer trimmed the lace too close as it’s starting to fray after just a week. I’m being generous with the rating because I’m enjoying OTR and still don’t know what to expect when it comes to construction. I think I’d be less inclined to buy Gabor again over Welch because of the overall construction and materials comparison. That’s said the style and relevance of OTR is hard to beat and I’ve had fun wearing her.

    Versatile

I love this wig because I wore it up in a clip to a Christmas party and it looked very festive and dressy. It looks beautiful down with a soft sweater also for a more casual look.

    My new absolute favorite

Lovely. Own the Room lives up to its name. It took a bit of "fiddling" to get her just right, but she will now be my go to. I love her!

    I Love This!

This wig is gorgeous on. The texture and thickness is perfect. Very flattering length for me. Not too short that it gets caught in my collar but not too long for my face. I also love the longer layers.

The lace front is perfect, I cannot even tell that I have on a wig when looking at my hairline. I am a petite size wig in measurement; however, this fits perfectly. As I have found other’s photos so helpful, I have added a couple of different photos in different light to show the colors of the and the way it looks.

Would definitely recommend. Definitely one of my new favorites ( I am slightly obsessed with wigs now - why did I suffer through hair loss and feeling less confident for so long?!)
