Maude by Amore is a breezy long wig with boho waves and trendy layers. Designed with an extended lace front, the heat-friendly synthetic hair can be worn away from the face. The monofilament top offers multi-directional parting, and the breathable base allows air to flow freely to the scalp. Great for all occasions.

Special Features:

Heat-Friendly Synthetic Fiber: Straight styles can be curled, and curly styles can be straightened using thermal tools; for best results, temperatures should remain between 275°F–300°F (135°C–150°C).

Monofilament Top: Individually hand-knotted fibers create the look of natural hair growth at the crown, allowing for a realistic part and natural movement.

Extended Lace Front: Soft lace material stretches across the forehead and connects down to the front portion of the ear tabs for a realistic-looking hairline. Great for off-the-face styling!

My first wig that’s a keeper!

This is my first foray into wigs. I ordered 2 previously, but they weren’t keepers. This one is! The Maude by far exceeds my expectations! I ordered in Iced Mocha based off a tiny square sample & didn’t have high hopes the color would be that great (similar enough to my natural hair color). I have a small head so I could see how it might be too tight if you didn’t. It’s stretchy though. This pic is straight from the box, no styling done. It’s lightweight and perfect! I’m so happy!

    Very nice

Maude is definitely a favorite for many, with her soft waves and silky fibers. Unfortunately, although Amore has been said to be making slightly roomier caps lately, the front edges showed quite a bit of my temple/sideburn hair, and the cap itself was at the very edge of feeling tight. So I'm having to return her. For what it's worth, I'm a 22-inch with petite to low-average on all other measurements (except face length--and she's a bit too far back on my forehead!), so I thought she'd fit better. But for anyone at least a bit smaller than me, she's definitely a keeper! This pic is of Maude (in Mochaccino R) with zigzag intact and no combing/fluffing, but she's still so pretty!

    Truly Mixed Review

I am new to wigs- by necessity, due to permanent cancer-related hair loss. This has been a painful process to navigate, and wig retailers make it no easier. I had no idea, for example, how many hoops I would have to go through in order to "maybe" have an exchange approved for the defective wig I received. So many, in fact, that it made more sense to repair the wig myself (good thing I'm crafty).

As to the wig itself- it came to me with an asymmetrical hairline and patches of missing knots along the front lace. Even after my repair, there are other issues. After a day of wear, the cap (already too large for my petite-average measurements) had stretched further, to the point that I was worried about gapping and slipping. I now wear it with a wig band, but it needs to be pinned to the wig in order to be effective. It's difficult to hide the various lines under the lace- the silicone line at the hairline/top transition is very obvious and can't be corrected with scar tape or powder. Additionally, the fibers are very prone to tangling, especially at the back and at the nape of the neck. After just a few very gentle wears, some of the fibers were frazzled up like cheap doll hair. I can't correct them with heat and have had to resort to trimming. Frankly, the only thing that keeps this hair passable is the color- it's a gorgeous ombre, and the ends are a pale enough blonde that the frizz passes for bleach damage.
