I was drawn to the butterfly cut and curtain bangs, and Celeste did not disappoint. In Strawberry Syrup, the color is stunning — warm, rich, and dimensional. The feathery layers move beautifully and the lace front hairline is incredibly realistic. Long wigs can feel like a lot, but this one wears so naturally I keep forgetting it's on. Obsessed.

I wanted to love this wig! I even called in to speak with customer service, and they were so helpful! The color is Fudgsicle, 6, which is perfect for me. The length was great and the density was excellent. The problem is there is a band connecting the lace front to the Cap and it is very visible and shiny when you are close. I did not want to try putting dark makeup on it in case it didn’t work then I would not be able to return the piece. The representative told me this brand uses that band to make that connection from lace front to Cap so it will always be there. Sadly, I am going to have to return because I know I will be so self-conscious of that showing through. Possibly in lighter colors it might not be visible, but in dark brunettes, I’m afraid it will definitely show through.

This is my second Jon Renau wig and the first heat friendly synthetic, so we shall see if it holds up and behaves with heat styling the way Raquel Welch and Ellen Wille's do.
I have decided to keep it, so clearly I like it enough, but...
The lace front for JR's wigs are inferior to RW's. I think RW's lace fronts are the best with the finest fibers and roots. The least detectable. What made this one worse is that the lace comes farther than usual. Maybe I can cut it back but I don't want to risk it. So I will have to live with it. It goes over my baby hairs on the temples and therefore make the lace very noticeable. Overall, the lace is more noticeable than other pieces I have.
The hair falls in a way that I'm still getting used to. Straight out of the box it was flat to the head up top. Which in a way is the style. But not like the pictures. I had to coax it quite a but to get it to look kind of good. It's starting to grow on me.
We shall see.
