Barely There Straight 12” by Envy is a sleek, layered hair topper designed with graduated density, so the hair blends seamlessly with your bio hair. The HD Lace base has a lace front to simulate a natural-hair line and a partially polyurethane perimeter for a secure fit. The clips are positioned at the sides not only for a stronger hold but also to allow you to position the topper further back if desired. The design of this topper is quite nice if you do not need a lot of coverage. It's very flat so you don't have to worry about an out of place bump on your head. It's not heavy coverage so it doesn't look too unnatural. The color is where the problem lies. Color is a critical issue with toppers. I ordered it in Cocoa, which says it's an 830 and it shows a swatch of medium brown with auburn highlights. When I opened the box, I had to double check the label to make sure I was sent the right color. The color was a 4 or a 4/6 with a hint of reddish overtone. It was significantly darker than indicated by the color code, description, and picture. Thankfully, Wigs.com has a great return policy.
