This wig was a little too heavy for me, since I am used to thin hair. I took it to my hairdresser, and she styled it perfectly. Even if I tighten it at the back, it is still a little loose in the front. I have ordered a band that is supposed to take care of this problem. The color and shine are great. I am very pleased.

This review is about Ellen Wille Wigs and NOT Wigs.com. I will NEVER purchase another Ellen Wille wig. I have tried now both synthetic & human hair. I should have paid attention to the human hair review for this wig as there are places that the hair sticks out unnaturally straight like a stick from the head and it’s because of the silicone strips in the cap. Plus the hair on the neck doesn’t lay naturally after a few hours wear so it’s obvious I’m wearing a wig the way it sticks out away from my neck. Her synthetic wigs are nice for about a month and then the synthetic feels & looks like straw unlike any other brand synthetic wigs I have that stay feeling soft. I DO USE wig shampoo & know how to care for wigs so that is NOT the issue, it’s the inferior material used. The ONLY reason I kept trying Ellen Wille was due to the petite size caps that most other vendors like Rachael Welch don’t offer but tired of wasting my money ($500+ for synthetic & $900+ for human hair).

I have to agree with other reviews. The cap is well made. It is comfortable. However, there are chunks of hair around the face that will not move. They hang very much forward and not straight down as normal hair. My stylist looked at the wig, but stated he could not correct that problem with styling. For the high price of almost $1,000, I expected an expertly made wig.
I’m returning for an exchange hoping the problem is only on the wig I received.
I love Ellen Wille wigs and have been wearing the synthetics for years. Great for petite heads that need short cuts.
I’m disappointed in this Ellen Wille product. The company needs to address this issue and fix the style.
