Brush through the part and finger style the ends to preserve the curl pattern. If your own hair matches, pull it out around the hairline and blend in.
Washing
- Add 1 tablespoon of shampoo to cold water. Soak for 5 minutes
- Rinse thoroughly (incomplete rinsing dulls the fiber)
- Gently blot with a towel. Do not squeeze, twist, brush or comb while wet
- Hang to air dry or place on a folding wig stand (avoid drying on a Styrofoam head)
Styling
- Avoid using heat styling tools like a blow dryer, curling iron and flat iron.
- To smooth or re-curl, use a round metal brush and the HUW Hair Steamer.
- For excess shine, use dry shampoo to dull

I was just recently diagnosed with alopecia, and I tried 8 wigs from Wigs.com & I hated all of them. I finally realized that what I hated was my color. My hair is very black and I’m sorry but black just made me look like I was going to Comicon or trying to be in an 80’s rock band. I tried on ahead of the curve in Caramel and it was like finding the perfect fitting pair of jeans. Caramel has some blonde and shaded to it and it was just an “ah ha” and relieving moment. This wig is the perfect mixture of long and short. It’s soft and manageable and everyone said it made me look younger. I’m already planning on purchasing it in another color.
